The AKK X2 Ultimate is a compact 5.8GHz FPV video transmitter offering up to 1000mW of switchable output power in a small, lightweight body. It packs Smart Audio, Betaflight OSD configuration, a built-in microphone, and an LED display into a form factor significantly smaller than the FX2 Ultimate — making it a strong choice for 5-inch and 7-inch builds where stack space is limited but output power matters.

Why choose the AKK X2 Ultimate?
The X2 Ultimate sits in a useful middle ground — more powerful than basic racing VTX units, yet compact enough to fit in builds where the larger FX2 Ultimate won’t. Smart Audio integration means you can change frequency and power level directly from your Betaflight OSD without landing, and the 1000mW ceiling gives you a meaningful range advantage over standard 200-400mW transmitters. Pair it with components from our FPV VTX collection for a complete video system.
Key features
4 switchable power levels — up to 1000mW
Switch between 25mW, 200mW, 600mW, and 1000mW to suit your environment — low power for indoor flying or multi-pilot sessions, higher power for extended range outdoor flying.
Smart Audio — OSD control
Full Smart Audio support allows complete VTX configuration directly from Betaflight OSD — change channel, band, and power output in flight without pressing any physical buttons on the VTX.
Single-button manual control
For setups without Smart Audio, a single on-board button cycles through channel, band, and power settings — simple enough to configure on the bench without a flight controller connected.
LED display
The onboard LED panel gives clear visual indication of the currently selected band, channel, and power level — no guessing what the VTX is set to during bench setup.
Built-in microphone
Integrated microphone transmits real-time audio alongside the video feed — useful for situational awareness and for recording DVR footage with ambient sound.
Wide voltage input — 2-6S compatible
Accepts 7-26V input, making it compatible with 2S through 6S LiPo battery systems without requiring a separate BEC or voltage regulator.
Compact metal-shell design
A partially metal-enclosed shell protects the VTX internals while keeping size and weight to a minimum — fitting in builds where the larger FX2-series VTX would not.

What’s in the box
- 1x AKK X2 Ultimate VTX
- 1x MMCX to SMA pigtail antenna cable
- 1x JST 6-pin silicone power and signal cable
Recommended for
- 5-inch and 7-inch freestyle and long-range builds
- Builds requiring compact VTX with high power output
- Betaflight OSD Smart Audio setups
- 2-6S LiPo power systems
Build compatibility
MMCX antenna connector — if your build uses an SMA antenna, the included MMCX-to-SMA pigtail handles the conversion. The 5V camera output supports cameras drawing under 500mA — do not connect a 12V camera to the 5V output. Browse our flight controller and AIO range for compatible stack components.
Note: The VTX will run hot at 1000mW — always ensure adequate airflow over the unit during flight. Never run at maximum power on the bench without airflow for extended periods.
