The Radiomaster TX12 MKII is RadioMaster’s most popular compact FPV radio controller, updated with an internal ExpressLRS module, upgraded STM32F407 processor, precision hall-effect gimbals, and EdgeTX pre-installed from the factory. It delivers a full-featured open-source radio experience in a small, lightweight form factor — making it one of the best value FPV transmitters available for both beginners and experienced pilots.
Why choose the TX12 MKII ELRS?
The TX12 MKII hits a rare combination: it’s small enough to travel with comfortably, powerful enough to run EdgeTX with full lua scripting and model management, and comes with internal ELRS built in — no external module needed out of the box. The hall-effect gimbals provide precise, drift-free stick input with excellent centre-point consistency, and the upgraded STM32F407 processor keeps the radio responsive even with complex EdgeTX configurations. Pair it with our FPV accessories range for a complete setup.

Big Battery Bay
Allows for dual 18650 or dual 21700 Li-ion cells, or 2S Lipo up to 74×60×22mm.

Expresslrs BLE JOYSTICK MODE

Radio Overview

Key features
Internal ExpressLRS (ELRS) module
Built-in 2.4GHz ELRS module transmitting at 20dBm — no external module required. ELRS delivers industry-leading link performance with ultra-low latency and long range, far outperforming older 2.4GHz protocols at the same price point.
EdgeTX pre-installed from factory
EdgeTX is the leading open-source RC transmitter firmware, actively developed with RadioMaster as a Gold Partner. The TX12 MKII ships with EdgeTX installed and configured — update anytime via USB with EdgeTX Buddy or EdgeTX Companion.
Upgraded STM32F407 processor
The MKII upgrades the main MCU from STM32F207 to STM32F407 — delivering faster processing for complex EdgeTX setups, more responsive OSD updates, and better USB communication stability.
Precision hall-effect gimbals
Hall-effect gimbals use magnetic sensing instead of mechanical potentiometers — providing better centre-point accuracy, improved temperature stability, and longer service life without the gradual drift that affects pot-based gimbals.
BLE Joystick Mode
The ELRS version includes Bluetooth joystick mode — pair wirelessly with your PC, tablet, or phone to fly simulators without a USB cable. Works with Velocidrone, Liftoff, and most major FPV simulation software.
JR-compatible external module bay
Standard JR module bay supports TBS Crossfire Micro TX, ImmersionRC Ghost, and other JR-format external RF modules — future-proofing the radio for any protocol you may want to run.
USB-C QC3.0 charging
Upgraded to USB-C with QC3.0 fast charging support — charges the battery faster than standard USB charging, using standard USB-C cables you already own.
Large battery bay
Supports dual 18650 or dual 21700 Li-ion cells, or a 2S LiPo up to 74×60×22mm. Battery cells are not included — purchase separately.
