The MicoAir F405 V2 Stack is a 30.5×30.5mm flight controller and ESC combo built for pilots who want open-source firmware flexibility without compromising on hardware quality. It pairs an STM32F405 processor with the BMI088 IMU — a high-performance Bosch sensor renowned for temperature stability and vibration resistance — alongside a 4-in-1 50A Bluejay 48K ESC in a clean, socket-connected stack that requires no soldering between FC and ESC.
Why choose the MicoAir F405 V2?
Most flight controllers in this price range run Betaflight and stop there. The MicoAir F405 V2 is built specifically for pilots who need ArduPilot or INAV — GPS navigation, autonomous missions, position hold, and Mission Planner integration. It’s officially supported by ArduPilot from v4.5.0 and INAV from v8.0.0, making it a strong choice for long-range, GPS-assisted, and autonomous FPV builds. Pair it with components from our flight controller and AIO range for a complete build.

Key features
BMI088 IMU — industry-leading vibration resistance
The BMI088 from Bosch is a high-performance 6-axis IMU with far superior temperature stability and vibration robustness compared to standard MPU or ICM sensors. Combined with the ESC’s Bluejay 48K firmware reducing electrical noise, it significantly improves GPS positioning accuracy in position hold mode.
Official ArduPilot and INAV support
ArduPilot support from v4.5.0 and INAV from v8.0.0 — both officially maintained. Flash directly through Mission Planner, INAV Configurator, or the ArduPilot Custom Firmware Builder. Ideal for GPS navigation, autonomous waypoint missions, and fixed-wing builds.
50A Bluejay 48K ESC
The 4-in-1 ESC delivers 50A continuous current with high-performance 40V 165A MOSFET devices (RDS=1.1mΩ) — low resistance means lower heat generation, better efficiency, and improved reliability under sustained high-load flying. Runs DSHOT150/300/600 with bidirectional DShot and RPM feedback.
Socket-based connections — no ESC soldering
All interfaces including the FC-to-ESC connection use socket connectors, eliminating the need for any soldering between boards. Significantly reduces build complexity and the risk of installation errors.
DJI O3 Air Unit direct plug-in
An SH1.0-6P connector supports direct connection to the DJI O3 Air Unit for digital HD FPV builds.
6 UARTs and 10 PWM outputs
6 full UARTs support GPS, ELRS receivers, telemetry, VTX control, and more simultaneously. 10 PWM outputs (channels 1-8 support DShot, channels 1-4 support bidirectional DShot) give extensive configuration flexibility for multi-rotor, fixed-wing, and VTOL builds.
